Summer Reading

It’s time to sign up for summer reading!   Come on in to pick up your Bingo sheet (or print it here), as well as a cinch sack with some goodies.  With each book you read, fill in a space on your bingo sheet.  For each bingo you get, you’ll receive a raffle entry for our end-of-summer prizes.  Keep going on your sheet until you fill it up (and maybe get another)!

Please check out our special programs (most are held on the library lawn).  From horses, bugs, dogs, and puppets, to music, mime, drawing, storytelling, and trivia, there’s something for everyone!  And we’ll top it all off with a foot-stomping, hand-clapping concert by local favorite Stacey Peasley and her band on Wednesday, August 25th at 6 pm.

Read the book, Becoming a Good Creature by Sy Montgomery one page at a time on the grounds of the library.  When you’re done scan the QR code on the last story board and enter the raffle to win a different Sy Montgomery book.  Or use this link to enter.

The StoryWalk®Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, Vermont and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.

Requesting books for curbside pickup is easy!
Give us a call (508-653-6730) or send an email to [email protected]  You can provide a list of specific titles that you’d like or tell us about your kids and their interests and we will choose a selection especially for you.  The more information you include the better able we can tailor our selections.  You may also use the online catalog to put books on hold.

We get new books all the time!
