Before there was Rotten Tomatoes, there was Siskel and Ebert. These two film critics from rival Chicago newspapers reluctantly joined forces in 1975 for a new movie review show on PBS. Over the next 20+ years, while battling both onscreen and off, Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert created a delightful show, an iconic brand, and a genuine friendship.
In this book, award-winning editor and film critic Matt Singer chronicles their journey.
