Art Opening Reception: Lisa Hayden

Lisa Hayden, a contemporary artist from Northboro, will be exhibiting a collection of paintings from March 3rd to May 2nd at the BFL.  With an abstract take on the natural world and a deep love of the ocean, Lisa brings the outdoors inside.

Lisa is a Massachusetts native who studied painting at the University of Miami where the vibrant world of South Florida has combined with a life in New England to form a lasting influence on her art for 30 years. She exhibits her work at art fairs and gallery shows throughout New England and is active with ArtsWorcester.

Lisa paints in acrylic using a palette of greens and blues, with works ranging from fully abstract to abstracted landscapes and seascapes. A creative force in her work is a love of the ocean and nature; paintings often explore the intersection of human feelings and the natural world. An expression of both abstract concepts and landscapes through color, texture and motion is behind each piece of art.
