LOCATION CHANGE DUE TO RAIN – Fantastical Folktales of Flowers with Diane Edgecomb

June 6, 2023 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Fantastical Folktales of Flowers with Oracle award winning storyteller Diane Edgecomb and Celtic harper Margot Chamberlain will be HELD IN THE LEBOWITZ ROOM OF THE MORSE INSTITUTE LIBRARY

From the dramatic to the sublime to the wildly humorous, world stories of flowers and their origins are deeply entertaining. Retold in a dramatic storytelling by award-winning storyteller and theatre artist, Diane Edgecomb, this evocative tapestry of story and song conjures a magical world bringing new meaning to favorite garden flowers. Accompanied by Celtic harper Margot Chamberlain the one hour performance event is surrounded by a weave of song and music completing the storytelling magic.

“A storyteller in the grand tradition, Edgecomb is a virtuoso of the spoken word. An entire cast rolled into one.” Publisher’s Weekly.

This program is geared primarily towards adults and children ages 8+. It will be held outdoors, so bring a blanket or chair and a picnic if you like. In the event of inclement weather, this event will be held at the Morse Institute Library.
