Libby will be discussing the Petticoat Patriots of the American Revolution – this talk includes  the “Daughters of Liberty” and future “Lady Presidents” Martha Washington\, and Abigail Adams. We will also meet Mrs. Adams’ friend Mercy Warren\, as well as Esther Reed\, a Philadelphia socialite. Then we will marvel over the courageous midnight-riders: Susanna Bolling of VA\, Betsy Dowdy of NC\, and Sybil Ludington of CT.
