The citizens of Gander met the stranded passengers with an overwhelming display of friendship and goodwill. \nOver the course of four days\, many of the passengers developed friendships with Gander residents that they expect to last a lifetime. This book recounts the inspiring story of the residents of Gander\, Canada\, whose acts of kindness have touched the lives of thousands of people and been an example of humanity and goodwill. \n  \nCopies of this book are available at the library.  \n  \nOur discussion will be on Zoom.  Please register here to receive the meeting details: \n  \n\n\n \n \n Nonfiction Book Club Registration - September 2026\n \n \n your nameemail*\n \n \n Submit \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Δ URL:https://baconfreelibrary.org/event/nfsept26/ LOCATION:Bacon Free Library\, 58 Eliot Street\, Natick\, MA\, 01760\, United States CATEGORIES:Adult Events,Featured GEO:42.285064;-71.346109 X-APPLE-STRUCTURED-LOCATION;VALUE=URI;X-ADDRESS=Bacon Free Library 58 Eliot Street Natick MA 01760 United States;X-APPLE-RADIUS=500;X-TITLE=58 Eliot Street:geo:-71.346109,42.285064 END:VEVENT BEGIN:VEVENT DTSTART;TZID=America/New_York:20260928T100000 DTEND;TZID=America/New_York:20260928T103000 DTSTAMP:20260908T174713Z CREATED:20260828T142355Z LAST-MODIFIED:20260908T174713Z UID:10002366-1790589600-1790591400@baconfreelibrary.org SUMMARY:All Together: Preschool Storytime DESCRIPTION:Join us on Mondays and Tuesdays for stories and songs!
