DESCRIPTION:  \n  \n*Please note: this month we are meeting on the 3rd Saturday (the 4th Saturday is on Memorial day weekend and the library is closed) \n\nThis month\, we will discuss Beautiful Country: a memoir of an undocumented childhood by Qian Julie Wang.   \nAbout this memoir\, from Penguin Random House:  “In Chinese\, the word for America\, Mei Guo\, translates directly to ‘beautiful country.’ Yet when seven-year-old Qian arrives in New York City in 1994 full of curiosity\, she is overwhelmed by crushing fear and scarcity.
