Do you like technology and building projects?

Are you interested in talking by radio with people around the world?

If you answered yes, then amateur (ham) radio is for you!

Amateur (ham) radio is a popular hobby and service that brings people, electronics, and communication together.  According to the National Association for Amateur Radio, people use ham radio to talk across town, around the world, or even into space, all without the Internet or cell phones.

Join Natick residents and ham radio operators, Joe and Dan, for an enlightening discussion of the many facets of amateur radio: what it is, how it works, and how to get started. We’ll have time for questions as well.

Unlike ham radio, this discussion does require Internet access, as we will meet via a Zoom meeting.
