Composting: Making Soil from Scraps

April 13 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

It’s another one of Mother Nature’s magic tricks: turning apple cores, carrot peels, and used coffee grounds into rich soil.   Composting is a simple trick that you can perform in your yard.  Start with a small bin in the kitchen where you discard fruit and veggie scraps. As that bin fills up, empty it into your outdoor compost bin, stir it once in awhile, and before you know it, you’ll have rich, fertile soil for your garden.

Join Zoe, sustainability guru from the Natick Community Organic Farm, as she teaches us how to start composting in our homes.
Check out our program, Composting with Earthworms here.

This program will be held over a Zoom meeting.  Please register to receive the meeting link.
