Nonfiction Book Club
November 21 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction and we endeavor to explore it all in our nonfiction book club.
Please note, this month, we are meeting a week earlier than usual so as not to interfere with the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. With that in mind, we’ve chosen a short book for November.
Please join us for a discussion of Tribe: On Homecoming and Belonging by Sebastian Junger. “Combining history, psychology, and anthropology, Tribe explores what we can learn from tribal societies about loyalty, belonging, and the eternal human quest for meaning.” (from the book jacket)
Copies of this book as well as audio books are available at the library; please call to arrange for pickup (508-653-6730).
Our discussion will take place over Zoom. Please register below so that we can send you the Zoom meeting information.
