The Hoopoe Show: Mirth, Mime, and Magic
July 17 @ 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Let’s welcome back Chris Yerlig as Hoopoe the Clown!
Hoopoe blends silent pantomime comedy, movement illusions, sleight of hand magic tricks and balloon wizardry, to create an original vaudeville show that is funny, imaginative and full of surprises. The unexpected is to be expected when audience volunteers are invited to join him on stage to assist with illusions! Young and old unite through laughter as they follow the non-verbal antics of this unique performer to their humorous ends.
Chris Yerlig is originally from England and began performing on the streets of France and Spain. He has been performing and teaching around the world for over 20 years.
Please note: This event will take place on the Library lawn, so bring a chair or blanket. In case of rain, we’ll move inside to the Children’s House at Riverbend School, just down the street at 33 Eliot Street
